Found this old article, painfully funny.

inktank.fi/revealed-the-9-levels-of-leaver-expectations-about-brexit/

I judge us to be somewhere between Levels 5 and 6 now.

"Level 5: I don’t care if my family lose their jobs. Jobs aren’t everything. Sometimes you need to make sacrifices. Kids of today have no idea how hard it was for us.

Level 6: I don’t care if there are no functioning hospitals, farms, cafes, banks, air flights, social care, etc. Who needs society to function when you have sovereignty."

lol

HerLadySheep · 09/01/2019 22:45

Ah yes but it seems they don't actually like sovereignty anymore now that Parliament is "taking back control" Wink

lljkk · 09/01/2019 22:48

taking back control = mob rule

frumpety · 10/01/2019 20:29

That's the spirit Double if you don't laugh, you'll cry Wink

Doubletrouble99 · 11/01/2019 00:11

Just pathetic frumpety - really!

frumpety · 11/01/2019 07:56

I didn't write it Double , but there are comparisons to what people have said on Brexit threads and in comments on social media to the Level 5 mentioned above. That's why someone did write it. Smile

They are indeed pathetic double. Shame the rest of us have to suffer the consequences of their idiocy really.

Mistigri · 12/01/2019 21:35

This sounds like a joke, until you learn that polling suggests that quite a lot of leavers now think that an 8% fall in GDP would be perfectly fine.

I had some words with a FB "friend" last night. I asked him about several things, the Irish Border question, possible problems with supplies of drugs, companies pulling out. Just the usual non replies. I asked him twice, please, just tell me what you think will be so good if we are no longer EU members. He ignored that. I looked back at the thread later, one of his mates had added to it, saying that we buy all Germany's luxury cars, so they need us more than we need them, and if we have our own boarders (his spelling) we can stop drugs being smuggled........which wasn't what I asked at all. I think I'll have to delete and block
