Once upon a time, I'll admit I used to love BoBo. It was the floppy haired gormless guinea pig look.

Not since Brexit. Now he's on the Beeb News spouting how support is growing for No Deal and everyone should get behind that. Just as Mps are rallying to try and stop this. I mean really, is he dead set on sabotaging the country through propaganda and why????

He’s positioning himself with the party faithful for a shot at leadership once May goes.

Boris, like Farage has flipped and flopped between Remain and Leave and has been happy to spout stuff that is untrue, therefore not to be trusted. They are both probably good 'after dinner speakers' with funny anecdotes but neither are ministerial quality.
The main true thing that Boris has said is 'F$ck business' which has already come to pass.

Boris is Mr Toad of Toad hall.

lonelyplanetmum · 07/01/2019 09:24

I don't know how anyone can like him? He is not just an amusing buffoon. Just look at the way he has treated women in the past and present, plus his conspiracy in having a decent journalist threatened and beaten? Google Darius Guppy if you are too young to remember the details. If he was a DH on a relationships thread here,he'd be annihilated.

Im proud to say that I contributed a small amount to the crowdfunded case against BoJo. It is using him as an example, about the risks of lying in public office..

That claim is being pursued in January, last I heard in the press he didn't even have the courtesy to instruct his representatives to reply to the pre claim letter.

minipie · 07/01/2019 09:34

He doesn’t give a shiny shit about anything except his own ambition. The buffoon act is an act calculated to endear him and hide his ruthlessness.

bellinisurge · 07/01/2019 10:01

He's an unpatriotic twat.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/01/2019 12:02

My dad thinks he is great...very intelligent man apparently

My dad is lovely...Boris is a twat

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 07/01/2019 12:04

Oh and look at him with his haircut at the time of that failed coup

Twunt Hmm

amoral, charlatan,

Buteo · 07/01/2019 13:16

I like John Simpson's tweet about Boris:

An ambassador friend of mine says ‘Boris was far & away the worst foreign secretary I’ve served under. Not stupid - I could have put up with that - but unashamedly lazy.’

OrdinarySnowflake · 07/01/2019 13:21

Because he's caught in a trap now. He was supposed to be the one who was all silly and excited about Brexit, then the British public would vote remain, he would be gracious in defeat, say the British public had spoken and it had to be put to bed as an idea now. He would be funny and charming about the failure, being a leading figure in the Leave campaign would mean the anti-EU Tories would love him, his charm at losing would win over the pro-EU members, and he's sail in to No 10 as the more fun option than George Osbourne, once Cameron left.

And then the British public fucked it up for him.

He's got nothing left other than playing to the extremes.

millyont · 07/01/2019 16:35

He is amoral and certainly not fit to be leader. His breaking of his promises re Heathrow was the final straw for me.
He can win elections though which is presumably why the Tory members still put up with him.

HollowTalk · 07/01/2019 16:42

His sister says the family were amazed that BJ was all behind Brexit. He'd never said a word about leaving Europe beforehand. I think he's an opportunist - one who could do a lot better, but is too lazy to bother.

DarlingNikita · 07/01/2019 17:02

I've always loathed him. He has zero moral fibre and zero interest in anything other than himself and his own advancement.

I'm a Londoner and have never forgiven and will never forgive London for making him mayor (and not once but twice). People voted for him for a laugh but he was the Trojan horse –the Tory it was OK to like.

Worked out well hasn't it?

He's a cunt.

Topseyt · 07/01/2019 23:51

He's a twat. I don't think it is any secret that he didn't really want Leave to win the referendum. He wanted a narrow Remain win, so that he could oust Cameron and waltz into No. 10 as the new PM, without the shit storm that he knew Brexit would unleash. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he secretly voted Remain. He is purely an opportunist.

The only problem was that Leave won (unfortunately for all of us).

Mistigri · 08/01/2019 08:05

The question I'm really curious about is why someone as lazy as Boris would want to be PM, or believe himself capable of doing the job.

Was he this lazy when he was mayor or did he just have more competent lieutenants than at the FO?

ShiningSally · 08/01/2019 08:09

He's a turncoat and sleazeball.

TheDowagerCuntess · 08/01/2019 08:53

I'll never forget his cadaver-like face when being interviewed straight after the Brexit result.

For someone who campaigned to leave, he appeared (not in the least bit surprisingly) appalled at the result.

Hollow, amoral, odious little man.

Rufusthebewilderedreindeer · 08/01/2019 09:02

I agree dowager

They both looked as sick as dogs
