Absolutely horrendous, and very best wishes to Peter for a speedy recovery.

So much one could say about the cruel HO racist 'hostile environment' too.

Any one who's read a history book knows what this all means, and we all know who stands to benefit from all this mess and nastiness.

The majority of people on this island are not bad, not racist, and not violent.

Awful times.

Has this violent and sectarian hate crime been reported to the police?

Yes, reported to Police although Medway Police could not attend due to lack of resources. They literally did not have a car to send on a Monday evening.

Transport cops have been excellent and NHS

It was 15 WOmen, as reported in the paper, not that it makes a significant difference to the crime itself.

A woman was punched in the face in a suspected racist attack on a packed train

She was left bleeding from above the eye following the alleged assault after her assailant heard her speaking Spanish during a phone call on the Overground

Witnesses said he shouted abuse at the woman between Dalston Kingsland and Canonbury during the rush hour on Tuesday evening

Engineer Enrik Del Sol, 35, said: “He came up to her quite violently. He was shouting at her: ‘You need to speak in English, you’re in f*ing England. You shouldn’t speak other languages.’ The lady was in so much shock she couldn’t seem to reply to him in English so she was just replying in Spanish. Then he came up and punched her in the face

The day after the Brexit vote, my DDs (we are all EU nationals) were told to 'fuck off back home' by fellow students at their school. They were born here.

The school were excellent and came down like a tonne of bricks, but these attitudes are learned at home.

I am not surprised that these things are happening.

My two Polish friends, both living and working here in well paid jobs, went back home after their first child was born, they'd endured 9 years of racial abuse, no longer used the bus as when waiting at the 'stop got name called... they didn't want their child growing up here.

All of this was long before Brexit, i believe we are basically a racist society....just look at how our government behaves.
