EU domains - accommodation addresses ?

NCd for this ....

Just had a notice that my .EU domain is going, unless I can re-register it with a non-UK address.

Not sure if I'm being a bit dim, or if there's no such thing as an accommodation address in Europe ?

Anyone else had this issue ?

Even with an accommodation address in the EU, you can only register a .eu domain name if your registered office, central administration or principal place of business is within the EU.

This wasn't a business domain, but a personal one ...

It makes no difference. The only other entities that can register/retain a .eu domain name are organisations established within the EU or natural persons resident within the EU.

You can google 'notice to stakeholders Brexit eu domain names' for more info. (I've gone through this with my own company, hence I had the document to hand).
