Yay for the blue passports.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all

May next year bring us £350 million for the NHS, cake, unicorns, financial passporting, access to the single market, Irish love and of course control to the people.

(Apologies been up to my eyeballs. Normal service will resume after Christmas).

killing people on bridges and at gigs.

Typical botsplaining. Both UK born. Neither anything to do with the EU. Do wish these bots could at least get the basics right.

HashiAsLarry · 26/12/2017 15:05

Yes pain. When addressing lasses, especially those of us who require mansplaining to, it requires ignoring of lh. Or at least his maleness. Much like a leavers grasp on facts.

Got stuck in underground, so thanks for helping.

MaleInterloper · 26/12/2017 15:11

LurkingHusband - You don't know what you are talking about. My father and I and my friends camper-vanned all over Europe before Schengen. I also backpacked with a bunch of mates. All it required was a bit of planning.

And Figment - perhaps you are a figment of your own imagination, definitely a drama queen over nothing. That old standby - faux rage. I work with the police, and I have said nothing out of the ordinary. It is coroner-recorded that in some cases people suicide "while the balance of their mind is disturbed." Others are so confused that they may well not understand that what they are about to do will cause their demise.

You have an aversion to reality, which I understand if you are in your 30s and you know nothing before the EU; Lurking sounds like she/he is. For 40 yrs this country has been on a trajectory towards a U.S of Europe which some sensible people see as dangerous.

woman11017 · 26/12/2017 15:17

How many were UK born? And always interesting to check out the 'criminal records' of alleged perpetrators, especially in France.

Cheers there pain . Off to nominate. And I know that as it's a sisterhood site the winner will be fairly chosen. Smile

borntobequiet · 26/12/2017 15:33

Many thanks to @MaleInterloper who appeared out of nowhere! Just today! And with the gift for us of a useful portmanteau word, fascile, which I plan to appropriate whenever I need an adjective combining fascist and facile. However I am disappointed that he has not yet given us his views on French bobs. Perhaps too European for him?

Our son has been working in Canada for nearly 2 years. He had to undergo stringent security checks,

Sorry but I have to laugh at that one.
Canada is one of the easiest country to emigrate to. They WANT immigrants to come in and the whole of their policy is directed towards that.
If anyone thinks that their security checks are stringent or that it’s hard to move there, then they have no idea what stringent security checks are or how difficult it can be to move to another country tbh.

CardinalSin · 26/12/2017 15:46

Ah, so he's happy for his wife to lose her rights over here without him. Not controlling at all then...

Mistigri · 26/12/2017 15:47

Gotta love a bit of mansplaining.

Do yourself a favour though - don't respond. There are only two reasons why people post in this way: deliberate trolling, or bored/ pissed attention-seeking. They are interested in derailing the conversation, not participating in it.

TheElementsSong · 26/12/2017 15:47

I for one am deeply honoured, dear ladies, that our new lord and master has deigned to gift us with repeated displays of chipolatas pearls of wisdom, unlike some other occasional male visitors. In this, he strongly resembles an earlier, much honoured lord and master, who as I recall was called something combining one of our western motorways and a male parent?

woman11017 · 26/12/2017 15:47

I have these rather tasteless very small sausages at the back of the fridge. Has anyone got any good recipes?

HermioneAndTheSniffle · 26/12/2017 15:48

male
Can I ask you to stay for a bit? You are bringing a lot of fun into the thread.
Like a woman being sexist, said by a man...
Or unusual word such as ignoramuses

I’m having fun there. Please carry on Grin

Mistigri · 26/12/2017 15:48

And definitely not a native English speaker btw.

HashiAsLarry · 26/12/2017 15:50

Beryl! Beryl! There's a bunch of women on the internet who won't bow down to my genetically superior male intellect.

I'm not sure this is the same chipolata. Very reminiscent of an older poster though, who eventually showed themselves to be precisely what they were though.

Mistigri · 26/12/2017 15:53

I think it is probably true that the same people pop up under different user name There are not that many people who care enough about brexit to troll threads on an obscure subforum of a parenting website.

Alcohol is probably part of the explanation too.

MaleInterloper · 26/12/2017 15:57

And definitely not a native English speaker btw

You are not mistigri for sure. You admitted it on a different thread.

No I don't think this one is ChipolataMan, who only does drive-bys. This one is more like WesternMotorwayMaleParent who was around for a while, some months ago. Alternatively, they could be NonWittyMisnamingRepeater, anyone remember them?

borntobequiet · 26/12/2017 16:04

Ah well. Had my fun. Off back to Style and Beauty, maybe I can get some advice about my face.

woman11017 · 26/12/2017 16:06

fascile does that mean daft fascist?

AgnesSkinner · 26/12/2017 16:09

WesternMotorway(Single)MaleParent disappeared a while ago, along with the obnoxiously cheery ChinChin poster. Chipolata Man is still around I think?

HashiAsLarry · 26/12/2017 16:11

In fairness to chipolata he tends not to go straight for the othering jugular. Not cared enough to throw tantrums when not listened too.

HashiAsLarry · 26/12/2017 16:12

Nor. Bloody autocorrect.

Strangely enough, I found myself more attracted to the rather more socialist EU. But then I don't make up my own facts...
