If you were an MP

If there was a binding in/out vote in Parliament and you were in favour of one side but your constituents had gone the other way in the referendum would you vote the way you believe in or the way the majority of your constituents want?

Well, at the risk of being high-handed, I would do what I thought was best for my constituents.

Anyone else? Given that it could happen what would you want your MP to do? Vote with their conscience or their constituents?
