What will Happen When...

... the majority of the country is deeply unhappy with the terms negotiated for Brexit? This is, after all, a 100% certainty: nearly 50% are already deeply unhappy and the other 52% are completely divided on their main reasons for leaving. We can't have immigration controls and a free market. Will the majority of people be as accepting of "democracy" then, or will we have rioting on the streets?

I think the outcome will be more positive than that, but either way I will still support democracy. You take the rough with the smooth, and it's worth it. Democracy isn't just something that should be sidelined when the going gets tough.

I doubt very much there will be rioting.

And predicting failure at this stage is just a form of trash talk.

Maybe, but it does feel a bit like supporting the England football team. Grin I haven't seen anything from our leaders, yet, which fills me with optimism.
