How do you think Brexit talks with EU will develop?

What are your views on how the Brexit talks with EU will develop?

UK was the one ,with Margaret Thatcher and John Major , who was the advocate of enlargement to include Eastern Europe and even Turkey.

Some founding members were against it. Britain exited because enlargement created 'immigration' which the Sun and Daily Mail did not like.

Britain contributed to the mess and now expects founding members to clear it after them whilst cherry picking the best bits of the EU!!
God knows how the meeting will turn out today 😀😀

I must add that one of the main reasons that Britain wanted enlargement was that they wanted to reduce the influence of the Franco-German axis..

Badly.

Blowjobs. Lots of blowjobs.

Sorry about the sexism, went for comedy though

I don't think it's even worth speculating about this until article 50 has been triggered. The one thing I am absolutely certain about is that the EU are not coming to the table until the UK has put its cards down.

There may be some informal talks behind the scenes, about what the framework of discussions will look like, but there will be no negotiations.

I really don't know. The whole thing is a mess. Every single aspect of whatever deal we end up with has to have unanimous support from all 27 member states. It is going to take years and cost the country an utter fortune. International lawyers must be rubbing their hands with glee, they're sure fire winners from all this, even if no-one else is!

There is a man in BBC2 at the moment saying it won't be in smoke filled rooms.

Juncker reiterating 'No Article 50, no negotiation' in Euro session this morning.

Farage strutting.

Possibly better of Our Nige hadn't opened his mouth.

Moonax · 28/06/2016 11:02

"If". Not "of".

MaidOfStars · 28/06/2016 11:28

I turned the TV off when he started celebrating his win, telling the rest of them they've never had a proper job in their lives.

Mind you, Juncker had told him that his presence at the session was baffling.
