Just wondering if there has been any response to Brexit from him. He has been out of the public eye for a while but as founder of UKIP I thought he might have been asked for his reaction.

All I can find about him is this Spanish newspaper article saying that he has a massive villa in Spain that he rents out and is also a speculator in the property market and a writer of trashy novels. Interested to know whether he has changed his mind or is just a masochist given that he has probably destroyed his business.

I honestly don't know altered. However, slightly off topic I had no idea he wrote trashy novels Shock I need chearing up amongst all this doom and gloom so I'm taking myself off to Amazon right now to check out the reviews Wink Grin

'Cheering' even, haven't spelt it like that since I was about six!

I found this. An incest-based erotic novel by the looks of it. Confused Somehow it seems to have been listed on amazon under non fiction family relationships. Grin Two reviews in six years, so hardly a smash hit.

No wonder he had to rent out his villa at over 12000 euros a week.

I have just realised that he didn't found UKIP. Sorry. He flounced from UKIP and founded Veritas and I confused the two.

Oh blimey Shock don't think I will be reccommending that one for my book club Wink!!

Just5minswithDacre · 26/06/2016 17:53

That's a bit left field. Do you work for him?

alteredimages · 26/06/2016 19:35

Haha, no, I most certainly don't. I just remember him being a wanker and sort of blame him for raising the profile of UKIP. You know, another hate figure for my growing collection.

"Share or Shaft"

A strange legacy

Just5minswithDacre · 26/06/2016 20:37

I'd forgotten all of that Shock

I once went to a party, and for some reason thought I was talking to Robert K-S. I told all my friends and family the next day. Some time later, I was chatting to the party host and mentioned her friend RKS. She looked at me completely blankly. He was never at her party. I have no idea who I spoke to, or what we discussed. He must have thought me a very star struck odd person.

Oh, thank you for making me properly laugh at the memory of Robert Kilroy Silk - had totally forgotten all about him being a Kipper

SwedishEdith · 26/06/2016 20:47

I remember was he was a Labour MP and was considered a bit of a heartthrob.

Just5minswithDacre · 26/06/2016 20:59

That's great Gazelda. Grin

Was he really Swedish? Never trust an orange politician. Kilroy, Tommy Sheridan. It shouldn't be allowed.
