Will the UK have to adopt the Euro if we stay?

I'm confused

Nobody really seems to be talking about it but a bit of digging online seems to suggest that we will.

If we do, will this be a bad thing or not?

We are already in the EU but have chosen not to use the Euro, so there is no reason that staying would change this really.

It is possible this country would choose to do so in the future, but that's not as as result of this vote.

The U.K will never switch from The Pound to the Euro.

If the vote is to remain then we just carry on as we are. No Euro, no Schengen. The EU don't get to negotiate on us remaining.

We either turn towards the EU and accept an EU superstate with all sovereign powers handed over eventually, or we get out now.

It is a T junction, there is no straight on. Ever closer Union or out.

Where on earth do you get such ideas from? The EU is not suddenly going to morph into a super state on the 24th June! Any significant change in relationship with the EU would trigger a referendum and possible article 11 withdrawal.
The fact that leaving would negatively affect workers rights, environmental legislation, industrial and technical standardisation and market access, whilst failing to address any of the major issues impacting our country... that's the change we should worry about!

Curiously enough, there is more risk of having to joint the Schengen area with a leave vote, since this may lead to rejoining the EEA/EFTA. Norway and Switzerland are inside Schengen.

Utter rubbish. We have enshrined in domestic law a trigger for a referendum if there are any further transfers of power. So we can get out then, if we want to, if it happens, rather than giving in to baseless paranoia now.

The UK will not be forced to join the Euro but that doesn't stop a future UK government joining many parts of the Labour party (& a few Tories) still want to join the Euro & David Cameron cannot control a future government. So it is possible we could join in the future
