Recycling Garden Tools

Does anyone know of a charity that collects old garden tools to refurb? I've seen a couple of local initiatives that collect them but all a very long way from where I live.

i think some of the big garden centres do - try Squires/notcutts. that or freecycle

Is there a Tools for Self Reliance branch near you? They collect & refurbish tools either to send to Africa if appropriate, or otherwise to sell on to fund their work.

Contact your allotment society and ask if they know anyone, such as a school or homeless group that has an allotment and needs tools.
