Decanting shampoo & conditioner

I've bought eco / vegan shampoo & conditioner in a 5l size and I have pumps which I use to decant to the old shampoo and conditioner bottles, but they get really manky and horrible.

Is there a good alternative people have found?

Thanks

There only seems to be me here, so at least this will bump it for you. I have had more success decanting things to glass bottles, as they are easier to clean. I try to do this with a bottle I already had. Something like an olive oil bottle in the absence of anything else?

Do you mean the pump gets manky?

You could pour through a funnel into the smaller bottles instead, although that might be quite cumbersome lifting/aiming the 5L bottle.

These refillable bottles from Muji are great.

Or amber PET bottles with pumps like these? There are lots on EBay, Amazon etc

wash them?

Seriously, it's hardly ethical living if you're looking to buy somehting new instead of washing what you have.

Wash the bottles and use a funnel to refill.

Shampoo bars

You can buy conditioner bars too, but I just use the shampoo bars

No plastic
