Not sure if this is the best place to post but a close family member is pregnant, I’m offering to purchase reusable nappies as my gift so wondered if anyone had any recommendations, I’m willing to spend up to £300.

Just to add I won’t be buying them without consulting her over which ones but I’m looking for somewhere to start so she can look at options.

I bought about 18 Bambino Mios from Aldi when they were in the middle aisle and they were fantastic, very straightforward to put on, quick and easy to wash and seem to have lasted a long time and be ready for a second baby. What I would say makes a big difference is buying a nappy bucket with mesh bag (I think I had Bambino Mio) and a good wet/dry bag (I had two Baba and Boo medium ones) as then you can do it out of the house too. Oh and a small wet bag for wipes (Cheeky Wipes) which I just rub under the tap either at hole or out and about. What I would say makes it work is just committing to it. If you try to do half and half it doesn’t work because the disposables are easier, there’s no getting around it, and you don’t get a good rhythm for washing. Fingers crossed it works out. Fwiw I would have been very very grateful for that as a present.
