Hi all
I drink a fair few fizzy drinks. I know I should cut down ... But for now focusing on the fact that I want to cut my plastic bottle volume

Are they a good ethical idea.? Are there lots of different types in which case recommendations would be fab please. What about the gas canister or has that moved on? Are diet versions any good? Can you sample them anywhere?
Thanks in advance......

I got one recently for environmental reasons. You get a reusable plastic bottle that fits it. Gas canisters can be taken to be exchanged at certain places like Argos, Dunelm, and more, or posted back and they will send you a filled one. I just have a Soda Stream Fizzi. I think you can get flavours but I like plain water and the kids are happy with added squash.

I'm totally evangelical about mine. I bought it about a year ago and it's amazing.

I'm an avid drinker of diet coke, I buy the syrup on Amazon and mix my own. It works very well. I swap the Co2 canister at Argos.

I love the diet cranberry Soda Stream, you could easily sample it by buying a bottle on amazon

www.amazon.co.uk/SodaStream-Zeros-Cranberry-Raspberry-Sparkling/dp/B017NPPUIG/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?keywords=sodastream+cranberry&dpID=41S1z3%252B16RL&preST=SY300_QL70&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1519917728&dpSrc=srch&sr=8-1

and mixing it with sparkling water.

I'm a huge believer in SS and a great fan of diet soda, give it a try.
