bit of a long shot but wondered if anyone had done this?
Have vaguely considered it for a while as much greener than cremation and I hate the whole funeral/graveyard thing with a passion.
We are lucky enough to have an eight acre field that we have planted as new british woodland, its still sticks really but it is Dhs baby. I think I would like us to be buried there. we could leave it equally to our children so no worries about blighting the property price etc.
Having researched it looks decepetively simple, the environment agency leaflet basically says that if you can meet the requirements (mainly not near a water source) you dont even need to contact the council!
Just cant believe its that easy, wondered if anyone had gone down that route for a relative?
