soapnuts?

a friend has started using them, thoroughly reccommends them so i want to give them a go. she said she paid about £5 for a 500g bag. would that be right? where do i get them? is there a specific type to get? how do you use them?

Our local heath food co-op does them. They should come with a little linen bag, into which you put about half a dozen soap nuts then chuck it in with your wash. A fiver sounds about right.

If you can't find them when your in town you can buy them online www.ecoshopkent.co.uk
£4.49 for 250g put them into a muslin bag or stocking to keep them in place.

We have started using soapnuts, which we got at about £2.50 a packet when Lakeland were phasing them out. The friend who recommended them sources hers from eBay.
