New Job vs Better Offer

I have a dilemma here. I just got a new job. Been working for three weeks and it’s a good job.
The thing is I got a new job offer. Closer to home. Which I like. It’ll be more convenient for me and my folks. I understand if this is not ethical. I will be interacting with people than virtual/remote.
What do you guys recommend? Give this job a new opportunity or see what the other job offers?

I tend to be the first to say that you don't owe allegiance to an employer. If you really want the other job, then take it. However;

  • Be careful about which bridges you burn
  • Be careful about leaving a job that you are happy in. A good workplace culture is gold - it's worth a lot more than commuting distance.

You are right. This new offer is closer to my house. I know that this might reflect badly.

I will have to talk to them and explain what I am going through and see what they think of the entire situation.

Talk to your current employers or the potential new ones? Honestly, I would not speak either about this until you have a fairly good idea of what you want to do.

Your employers are not your friends. You owe them ethical workplace behaviour, but they will replace you in no time if need be. Expect any advice from them to be framed in their best interests, not yours, unless you have some exceptionally good supervisors.

How much commute time are we talking?
Is there a pay difference?
Is there a difference in responsibility?
Is this a very small profession, or a bigger one where you can move around?

If you choose to move, don't expect to be able to make it right with the first employer. You may be completely burning bridges with them. On the flip side, if the second job is definitely the right one for you, don't turn it down just to "be nice".
