My partner of 20 years travels a lot. Hes always had a roving eye but I've always just thought he was a harmless idiot. I borrowed his phone(English) as I have a Spanish one which he agreed to. All of his WhatsApp's messages have been deleted but I saw a screenshot of him asking this mate to - get me the tablet- his mate said ok ok! It's in my pocket! The tablet was a Spanish viagra! I know he's cheated but I know if I tell him I know ow, it'll be game over for us and we aren't married and our two boys are at uni so we need him. He can get nasty. So the dilemma is- do I ignore it and carry on or confront him?

How do you know he cheated? But regardless, you deserve more. And if he can ‘get nasty’ that doesn’t sound harmless at all..

Keep your powder dry until you have spoken to a solicitor and know your legal and financial position. Get an STI check. Then when you have time to consider what decision YOU want to make tell him that you know hes been cheating. He'll go through "the script" but take control and decide whether you want to stay together (would you trust him again?) or kick the idiot to the kerb.
