While cleaning under my OH bed I came across a box I looked in it and now he is very angry was I wrong ? I did tell him I had

It depends whether you were looking for evidence of something under the bed or you accidentally stumbled on it. It's all about the intent imo

It was old cards from ex and photos of ex along with old stuff

I was cleaning under the bed and wasnt looking for anything I admit I dont like the old photos of an ex from years ago

We are not living together yet and been together 19 months

I found a load of old cards from my DP's ex the same way. I wasn't snooping, they were just there and he'd forgotten.
As an aside, why on earth are you cleaning under his bed if you don't live together?

Why were you cleaning under the bed when you don't live there? It does sound like snooping, I wouldn't go opening boxes when it's not your house.

I'd be really pissed off if I were him. That's his home!

If you lived together it would be perfectly normal thing to do-maybe the box was yours and you had forgotten about it. But seeing as you are not living together-what are you doing cleaning at all?
