Magazine Subscription

Hope this is the right place! About 5 years ago my mum bought me a subscription to an American magazine for a birthday present. Anyway, as far as I'm aware it would only have been a 1 year subscription - but the magazines have never stopped coming! I am still getting them every month, and don't know whether I should contact the company to let them know. Okay, I know it is stealing to receive something I haven't paid for - but part of me thinks it's their problem not mine, plus my mum died 3 years ago (so they definitely aren't getting any money as all her accounts etc are closed) and its kind of like she's still treating me even though she's gone. WWYD?

Not a lot of traffic on this page so might consider aibu for more responses, but what I would say is are you absolutely sure your mum purchased it with her own account details and not someone else's? I only ask because I did a similar thing for my dsis and only about a year later did I realise I was still paying for the subscription. Otherwise I would say enjoy the mistake and gift from your mum. I'm sorry for your loss.

I wouldn't worry. Big company, 1 magazine. It might be that she had a multi year direct debit in which case it may stop at some point.
Nice to think of it as an on going gift from your mum
