I bought a Clinique party lips and nails set but am unsure if it's suitable for vegetarians. Does anyone know? There's a huge list of strange ingredients I'm unsure if I even want to use it now.

Even if it is I'm sure they test on animals.

However you have bought it now so may as well use it so the animals didn't die for nothing.

Or donate it to charity/raffle etc :)

Hmmm I would have thought most of the chemicals in it were synthetic. But that's a guess.
A lot of makeup brands don't try on animals. I've googled lists before. I would again, guess, that there are no new ingredients that haven't been in makeup before so it might be that animal testing isn't necessary.
Both of my points were guesses!

Hello! Joined today so I could reply Smile

Clinique belong to the Estée Lauder group who don't test on animals in this country. That's obviously not to say in other countries they don't though. I couldn't answer for the ingredients though, why not try ringing their customer services at Estée Lauder head office? They should be able to help. If not there is usually a representative available for chat on the web page.

Good luck Smile
