Has anyone experience of bullying from two generations of the same family. Whilst the school can protect our children, the school gate can be a minefield. Any advice for an unaggressive mother?

You dont need to be aggressive you need to be assertive. Aggression IMO is picking needlessly assertion is making a valid response known. E.g Child is shoving your own. You say "X shoving is unkind stop it now." firm tone of voice if Xs mother then chirps in you reiterate "I don't allow my child to Shove and will not allow my child to be shoved". You invite no discussion as you are stating how you raise your child and your reasonable expectations o others. Depends on the specifics of the issues though.

So easy to muddle the line between aggressive and assertive, when emotion plays a part. Thank you for your advice - it all helps.
