Ring doorbell

This is more tongue in cheek than anything else but here we are

My elderly dad asked for a ring doorbell for their house, but they never bloody answer it!! I'm paying the subscription and set it up so I get all the notifications to my phone and they literally NEVER answer!!! They say they can't hear it, and they don't check their phones

What a waste

Would it work via an Alexa to tell them the doorbell was rung?

Have you checked their phones aren't on silent?

I'll have to have a look, their phones definitely aren't on silent they just walk away from them!! So I'm letting having to text someone at home to check the door

Alexa in multiple rooms blaring out the doorbell?!

It's going to have to be the way forward isn't it 🤣 such a nightmare because they insisted it would be so so useful!

Now I just had to watch the clips of people ringing the doorbell, waiting then turning to leave 🤣

How many chimes have they got plugged in?

itwasnevermine · 30/09/2024 16:35

God knows. It's not that they can't hear them, they just refuse to answer it!

Have they hit chimes and not just reliant on phones?

My chimes are so bloody loud I jump when they ring! Sounds like something isn’t set up right.
