Easy to use TV?

Hi, could anyone recommend an easy to use, straightforward TV for my very elderly father?

He's unfortunately having to spend more time upstairs in bed than he would like and he's finding the hours long, so I'm hoping to get him a TV for his bedroom.

At the moment he uses the programme guide on his TV downstairs to access programmes on it but he absolutely can't cope with anything else, so I'm looking for as straightforward a device as possible.

Any recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you.

Can you get one that is the same as the one he is used to? Maybe a different size but the same make and same controls.

Thanks @OldJohn that's a good idea although they're current tv is quite old. But does make sense.

I know that you can access radio channels on the TV now.
Provide him with the channel numbers for the radio channels.

Or buy him a stand alone radio ?

It's so annoying that technology is either fiddly or over complicated.

Hopefully someone can recommend a TV but if not you can buy programmable simplified remote controls. I haven't got to that point yet but have seen them advertised

Thanks @6onamoped and @autumnleavesrcoming for your suggestions too. I've suggested a radio at least until we can source a TV that might be workable.
