I am looking for advice on finding a carer to care for my elderly father in his 80s at his home in Blackheath London.
I tried a well-known care company and their staff kept turning up late, they also changed the carer each week at last minute, which made my father anxious. Obviously I would not mind this occasionally but not every week.
My father is recovering from delirium and the hospital doctors have said that having the same person or two people on rota will be important for his continuing recovery.
I am currently taking unpaid leave from work so I can care for him myself but I don’t feel I can do this permanently.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
