Carers Allowance

Morning All
I was approved for Carers Allowance in May. I received the back dated payment, and the later said this was up to 2nd June.
I am in the irregular earner group as I work for rhe NHS on a bank contract, so have to send my payslips in to make sure they are below the threshold for earnings. They've had my payslips for 2 weeks now and I've yet to receive my first payment. Spoke to them this morning, and the call centre can't give me any info on a date for the payment.
Wondering if anyone else is an irregular earner, and how often they receive a payment?
TIA

If you go even a penny over the weekly allowance they don't pay you, it's an absolute arse and so stressful

Make sure you are really accurate with reporting work earnings because they are taking people who claim but are just a pound or so over to court. Yet the woman who made up fake claims for her DC and claimed £300k fraudulently in benefits only has to pay back £1. 🤷 Very unfair in my opinion.

@Sprinkles211
@caringcarer
I have to send in my payslips.
I work out how many hours I can work, so haven't gone over the threshold.. the issue is I still haven't received my first actual payment.
The back pay was up to 2nd June, and then nothing. So waiting still for June's payment. They've had my payslips since 29th June.
Every time I ring up they just say they can't tell me when my next payment will be :(
