Hello after any tips or suggestions as my mum is currently bed bound due to pressure sores
She has a hospital bed with rails, while she has one on the tables for her drinks, she could do with something for her magazines etc
We are currently using a bag but it drops down through the day and she can't reach it
She has carers but is still trying to be independent
Can anybody suggest anything?

Has she got a riser recliner to sit into relieve the pressure sores?

Try something like this:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/croselyu-Multifunctional-Bedside-Dormitory-Magazine/dp/B096S6ZV4T/

Also handy for children in high sleeper/bunk beds if you have any of those!

She has a special mattress that pumps air every ten minutes
Occupational health arranged it. Her sores are improving & district nurses are happy with how they are improving
I just want to help her while she's stuck in bed

@TheOccupier that looks great but as the bed gets raised and head up and down it will get knocked off but it's exactly the type of thing I want m!

What about a lap tray with a bean bag base?? Or a lap top tray

Honestly give it a try - I got one for a friend who was in a hospital bed (the sort with all the bells and whistles, raised and lowered with one of those self-inflating mattresses) and it did work, just hooked over the guard rail.

We use this lap table as it has a cup holder Foldable Laptop Table Tablet... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BCKMFV1H?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

And this bed caddy that hooks on, she just unhooks and puts in the bed when moving the bottom part of the bed. Gaomoeny Bedside Hanging Storage... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BZVMDJH7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I have a laptop table, due to her pressure sores she had to stay on her side so until she can lie on her back it won't work
The caddy looks good
Thank you
