Continence pads

My mum developed some urinary continence problems while abroad, and has been using the local equivalent of Tena pads. She's back in England and is finding that the pads she has bought here leak. Dm says she thinks they don't have waterproof backing.

I don't know anything about incontinence pads. Please recommend me something I can get for dm to try, or advise about using them. Could she have been using them incorrectly? Dm has vision and dexterity problems.

What ones is she using OP? I use to run a continence clinic. Hopefully I can help.

Some pads you have to open up and "curve" so it fits better. All pads have waterproof backing and wicking.

I think she's using Tena night pads day and night. Purple wrapper? I wonder whether they are too bulky for her small frame. Also she is not completely incontinent, so they are probably overkill.

We used these for my mil. But managed to get them through the incontinence nurse.
when we needed extra I bought them from Amazon. They never leaked.
