Care needs assessment

Trying to get an urgent care needs assessment for Mum. LA dragging their feet and afraid of losing place in selected care home.
A lot of the private SW agencies don't seem to cover Wales. Anyone with any experience or advice?

I'm in West Wales. The only support we got with my mum was from the GP surgery who got a social worker to call the ward and insist that sending mum home was an unsafe discharge.

The hospital were very unhelpful.

Have you tried the local authority?

South wales here dad had a social worker it made all th difference xxxx
