Hi all

Can anyone recommend a soft non wired bra or bra vest for my elderly mum please. She can't have anything tight around her ribs but still needs a bit of support.

Many thanks.

Maybe a not too-snug sports bra - have a look in M&S

In john Lewis, triumph doreen bras in the cardboard boxes. Theres a cotton one, an old fashioned lacey one and one called delicate which is very soft and comfortable but supportive. For a pull over your head bra theres fantasie or sloggi zero feel, both very similar.

If she can manage pulling them on over her head Primark crop tops are the most comfortable ones I’ve found.

Agree with @Xrays that the Primark crop tops are really soft and comfy.
Sainsbury's do one that looks sort of sports bra-ish but zips up at the front if your DM struggles pulling it over her head.

Thanks all some great ideas there. Heading to Primark shortly actually for bed socks for mum so I'll look - didn't think about there actually. I'll look at those online M&S JL as they aren't nearby.

She might find that one that does up at the front is much easier to put on than one that has to be pulled over her head or do up at the back.

Front loaders are brilliant when they get old and frail, they were a godsend for my mum.
