Sending in AA

Just spoken to the helpline who advised me to send the form to

Attendance allowance unit
Mail handling Site A
Wolverhampton
WV98 2AD

rather than: Freepost DWP Attendance Allowance

The call handler said that there had been issues with the freepost at some post offices (they don't accept it) and of course it is not trackable.

Anyone any experience of this?
Did you send it signed for?

I used the free post address. It isnt trackable but you should get a text when it arrives. Make sure you have a copy in case it goes astray.
Signed for is pointless. They may sign but it covers a whole bag load of them. It is not individually signed for

@lazymum99 Thank you. I thought the freepost would be fine but after speaking with the operator she said to use the wolverhampton one. I sent it today so fingers crossed it will be fine. As you say they sign for a whole bagload so pretty pointless.
