Clothing Catalogues

I'm looking for clothing catalogues that my DM can choose some clothes from and would appreciate suggestions. She likes Cotton Traders etc. As she becomes more infirm going to clothing stores has become very difficult & tiring for her. It would be much nicer for her to look through some catalogues in her own time with a nice cup of tea to hand, but most companies dont seem to do paper catalogues anymore. We've tried online catalogues but she gets very flummoxed and it's not been a success.

Seasalt and boden both do paper catalogues still.

Try Damart , they do send out catalogues and also have some clothes that should be suitable like pull on trousers , they also do really good thermal vests eggs .

There are a few companies that do this, I know of one local one called James Alexander and Tesoro by Design but they are pretty expensive. You can request a catalogue on their website and they have a call centre you can order through where the employees will have a nice chat too.

Kaleidoscope do paper catalogues and also stock cotton traders I believe.

My mother and grandmothers used to buy a lot of their clothes from catalogues. Another method, which I am sure they would both try, is QVC on the telly, where they tell you about fit, you can see the clothes on different sized models, etc. They have some nice ranges, good quality, plenty of sizes. Note that some companies such as M&S now have videos on their sites too, and even some Amazon clothing has videos, so this is not weird or naff, it's quite sensible.

My mum has used Kaleidoscope for years. She said they fit her well and she always gets complimented on her ‘cruise’ dresses from there. They no longer cruise.

Bonmarché do a stylish range of comfortable clothes and also publish a Catalogue.

@Pavlova31 That's interesting to know - DM was a regular at Bonmarche until getting there became too difficult.

I have been wearing Damart for years, but recently their sales and customer care is unbearable. I ordered six garments. Two just never came, when I called ( you can’t email) waiting 23 minutes, they just said they were out of stock . They would refund ( which they did TWO Months later). Four came, but they were all the same thing, not four different ones. More calling , more explanations. Put them out for returns, they were collected. Replacements arrived : still four of the same thing. Persuaded them to pick up without return charge. chased for refund for another two months.

I really, really wouldn’t.

My elderly mum likes Damart. She is very happy with the pull-on trousers she ordered from them.
