My parents are moving from where they live to a bungalow more local to both me and my brother as they are not coping in there house especially as neither can drive anymore.
My mum has mobility issues due to arthritis and a stroke.
My dad has various medical issues with chronic anxiety and its becoming obvious there is some memory loss happening, an hospital visit after a fall has suggested parkinsons.
How do I help them settle down in the new area are there any tips of teaching them how to navigate new areas.
My tips on how to move hospital appointments especially those with ongoing treatment.

Is there a social prescriber in your area? They can signpost you/them to services, groups & activities which may help them to settle in.

no clue hospital wise, if they are due appointments maybe phone and speak to their consultants medical secretary and say which area they are moving to & the name of the nearest hospital, they should be able to advise you on how moving area works.
