DF - Several TIAs overnight

Hi, posting for reassurance and a handhold, really. My 74 y old df has been admitted overnight after suffering several TIAs (mini-strokes) and I’m absolutely terrified about what this will mean or might happen. He’s normally sharp as a knife and seeing him like this has frightened me. He’s only last weekend come out of hospital after a heart op so they cannot give him what they’d normally treat him with (although I don’t know what that would be). Are so many TIAs a very bad sign? and what would the long term prognosis be do you think? I’m terrified.

Handhold from me. Flowers

My Mum had a TIA - and whilst very scary she did make a full recovery and didn't have any after effects or a stroke later.

I hope your Dad is feeling better soon.

Thank you so much. I don’t know what to do! Good to know that there can be positive outcomes.
