My DM who seems well mentally is really struggling to coordinate eating at our Easter lunch food went everywhere. Is this a sign of something? She is struggling with mobility too

Sounds worrying.... worth a gp visit? How old is she?

I'd try and get a GP appointment for her too, if you've noticed it then the chances are it might be something that is concerning her but she is afraid to say/do anything about it.

Her doctor is useless, she is 81 and in poor health. It's just a horrible decline, I feel so sorry for her but everything from standing up to eating is a huge effort.

I would contact her gp and request an occ therapist referral who can look at mobility and possible aids.
