Does anyone have any experience of this being prescribed for a loved one? I'm reluctant to start my poor mum on it due to the side effects.

My dad has been taking aricept since May, it has improved his memory slightly but hasn’t helped any of his behavioural changes that have one with the dementia

What did the doctor suggest, what side effects concern you.

My mum seems to have side effects to many meds and has several she absolutely can't take, but started on this 6 months ago with no effects at all.

Upset stomach and dizzy spells concern me. She often has accidents and had recently had a couple of falls and is unsteady on her feet. I work full time so can't keep an eye on her if she's not well.

It had really good results for my Mum.

My mum tried all three licensed drugs for dementia, and all of them made her sick unfortunately. Does your mum have carers coming in to check on her during the day?

Upset stomachs - normal when first starting.

Passes - results can be good.

Worth a try I’d say.

CMOT just in the morning. I go in in the evening.
