Facility with hoists

This may not be the right topic but hopefully it is.
My mum is disabled and has two broken legs at the momentSad. She's currently in hospital and has been for a week. They keep changing their plan on helping her which is understandable.
However they are now talking about sending her to a facility with hoists etc to recover. When asked they didn't explain further about if this would be local or how long for etc.
Does anyone have any clue what sort of place they mean? Or been through this? She can't move at all right now and can't recover at home, we are all just worried and in limbo.
I've not heard of this kind of place at all
Thanks for any experience

Are they thinking about a care home? There are some that cater for younger people with physical disabilities so maybe this is what they have in mid for our mother until she is better. I think you need to ask them what they are thinking of as this is a somewhat unusual situation.
