Expecting bad news

Please be very honest with replies.
MIL has been in hospital over the weekend. She had a blood test done on Thursday and her arm ballooned up. She is allowed home today but the hopsital have said we need to be there with her for her appointment next week. This has never been asked before and I'm so worried

I would feel exactly the same if I were in your situation. In my experience, if they ask for someone else to go along then there will be news that is not good. However, it won't necessarily be catastrophic. Hang in there.

Is she elderly? It may be just because if that. Try not to worry x
