I had no idea what title to give this.

My father suffered a massive stroke and now needs 24/7 care. We've had difficulty tracking down all his finances as he can't recall where or what he has.
This resulted in me turning to his laptop.
Where I've found some things I might have preferred not to. Porn basically.

On the one hand, I don't care. I'm pragmatic. It's nothing scandalous.
But he's also my father.
I feel funny about it.

I can't share this with my siblings so have no where to let this out.

Its sad that you cannot accept your father had sexual needs.
Why do you feel funny?
You need to let go and focus on the important matters surrounding the finances and your fathers care.

Oh no, I feel funny cos clearly this was private for him. He knows I have had to look though his laptop and I don't want him to be embarrassed.

I am the most accepting person for people having sexual needs. Couldn't care less.
But he's my dad. I wasn't expecting to be confronted by it.

Not sure where I've said I can not accept this....

things sound really hard. It is really difficult seeing your parents in a different light. Hope he recovers some of his faculties and you can find decent care.
