At the hospital with my dear dad. He's in a diabetic coma and is very unlikely to pull through. Have been here for 12 hours. On my own at the moment as DH has gone in search of cigarettes!

This watching someone die marlarky is pretty tough 😭

Thanks Babybeesmama, My DH is here but has just gone off to find some cigarettes as he forgot to bring them. I have some amazing friends, one who is sleeping on our couch at home so DH can be with me and two of my best friends who visited to keep me company. My aunt and sister came to the hospital for an hour or so but went home (knowing the likelihood of him making it through the next 24 hours is very slim) and have no intention of coming back. Oh well, I guess I should be used to it by now. Wondering what I will tell the kids tomorrow and what news the doctor will bring at 3am...:
