moving schools at this time of year, advice pls

If i wanted to move my child out of P1 to another school at this time of year could i do it?

Has anyone else had to do this?

My sister has just moved house and her DCs have had to change schools as she's now 50 miles away. They found a lovely school, moved house at beginning of half term and children started new school last monday {smile]
