Oh no I never thought of all that I chose my DH as he was such a laugh - my kids are going to be the class clowns!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree with Marslady (that's why he chose me ) but I did choose him because he can talk almost as much as me (if not more) and I do like a good debate.
Also chose him cos I thought he'd never let me starve lol

Don't we all choose mates having thought about (maybe subconciously sometimes) whether they will breed well with us? This book, The Mating Mind argues that we pretty much do, fascinating book, I enjoyed it. We don't necessarily go for the person who'll give us clever children but I think we mostly look for men who fulfil all sorts of other criteria, making them fit to be the fathers of our children.

But I agree, brains are sexy, I couldn't marry a stupid man.

I think all men are stupid, they might be intellegent but they either really are or they pretend to be stupid!!

mummygow - ditto! My dh is the office joker and always has been wherever he works. He is very popular and everyone that meets him, loves him. He's a bit of a charmer.

BUT a lazy arsed git when it comes to household stuff!
