If so, have you heard yet? I'm getting anxious now! I've rung the school and they just say the council will write directly to us but still nothing! The school is about a 10 minute walk from us but I'm still worried until we get that letter. Didn't put a second choice either so not sure what would happen if they don't get in!

Phone the council. My dd started last year and it took 3 trips up the council before I got her in.

oh and they will look for the nearest school if your choice is full. We moved here in july and all 3 of my choices were full to start with.

Thanks Kelly - just phoned the Council and this time they confirmed that my girls are in the school of our choice. So relieved

That's great. Where are they going?

Chipstead Valley Primary. Where does your DD go?

Mine go to Elmwood Infant school. It's the nearest one to us (west croydon), and dd has done really well there - her teacher is lovely. We're hoping to move more to the south side of Croydon in the summer tho.

No - haven't heard yet from the LEA (we have got into the local foundation school - Christchurch). One of my friends got a letter on Thursday last.

Apparently more letters arrived this morning.
