Primary School Appeals - how much notice do they have to give you of appeal date?

we have just got a date 7 days from today which isn't much time. Is there a minimum?

have pretty much given up to be honest becasue of infant class size appeal but am going to go through with it ayway just to give them some paperwork for a change!

go to the ACE website and dowload the info about appeals there. I might be wrong but I think it says 10 school days so worth checking

the rules for admissions appeals are in the amisssions appeals code which is available to read and download PDF on the DCSF web site. Worth a read. 10 days - but most Appeals panels at Local Authorities will talk to you on the phone and give you more info.
