Moved DD in year 2, because she was being bullied. She was really upset at moving, because of having to make friends all over again. Promised to keep in touch with best friends. New school is lovely.

Just wanted to update this thread, in case this situation is affecting anyone else at the moment.

I'm the OP, and we finally moved the DD's last year. I'm so glad we did - and really regret not moving them earlier. Dd1 loved it from the moment she started, and although it took Dd2 about 1/2 a term to settle down, she was never as unhappy as she was at the old school, and is really settled now.

If anyone else out there is going through this dilemma, trust your instincts!
