Alternative/Steiner-esque schools in Hampshire/South Wiltshire/West Berkshire?

Our nearest Steiner schools are about an hour away. Does anyone know of any alternative schools of a similar philosophy (i.e. informal, nurturing and free play-based early years learning) in this area?

TIA

Have a look at the Human Scale Education website (www.org.uk). Members tend to be small, alternative, schools. My kids went to a member school in Sussex for a while - it wasn't perfect but there were a lot of lovely things about it (mainly the informal, nurturing stuff!).

I had a quick look for you at there at least two in Hampshire - Inwoods small school and New Forest small school - not sure if they would be anywhere near you. Good luck
