We get one given to us from school which does all of this - maybe your school will too?

wonderstuff · 18/08/2008 20:37

Yes, the teacher planner (I think) our head has banned planners

wonderstuff · 18/08/2008 20:39

here

Lucycat · 18/08/2008 20:39

banned planners? what do you plan in then?

hana · 18/08/2008 20:39

yes - usually called planners. Most of the big stationary suppliers to schools sell them. like this

Yes teacher's planners are marvellous things. Why are they banned winderstuff??

hana · 18/08/2008 20:40

our school supplies them too

wonderstuff · 18/08/2008 20:41

the school template, its a4, ofsted friendly, one to be done for every lesson, no short cuts

PortAndLemon · 18/08/2008 20:41

Not sure whether either of these (electronic versions) is what you need:

Teachers [sic] Planner

TPIM

wonderstuff · 18/08/2008 20:42

ofsted put us on notice to improve

PortAndLemon · 18/08/2008 20:42

Bah, my pedantry messed up the first link.

Teachers Planner

Slouchy · 18/08/2008 20:45

Ooh lordy - an ofsted lesson plan for every lesson? jeez, that will take some doing. Bad enough when you used to have to do them for a week's worth of lessons in the old days of Ofsetd.

You have my sympathies.

wonderstuff · 18/08/2008 20:53

Glad I'm only going back 3 days. We passed last year, there is a rumor that she is going to relax a little in Sept, but I'm not holding my breath, its got a bit corporate, we have a new school and we got a 4 page booklet on what colours and fonts we are allowed to use! I would PMSL if it wasn't so miserable.

You could email the Australian firm and point out the gap in the UK market and that they could clean up if they marketed a September-August version here?

we have paper ones given to us at the end of the year for next year but also have an electronic system as well which takes register, has pop-up reminders, and all pupil info. It tells you off if you don't do the register as well
