T levels instead of À levels- any experience?

does anyone have any experience with T levels. Are they equivalent to BTECs? My son has decided that À levels aren’t for him and has suggested a T level in electrical engineering. Has anyone gone through? I hear there is a larger drop rate. Any thoughts welcome!

My husband lectures T levels and says they are much harder than they should be. Go in with a full understanding of the depth of the subject required, they’re not an easy option.
