No invitation received for Latymer 11 plus test despite completed form for 2026

Hi, I applied for my son to sit the Latymer 11plus test this year on September, but i have not received an invitation. I am trying to get ahold of someone, can someone PLEASE! Assist me on this.

I have already tried to get in touch by emailing and calling and included screen shots in the email of when I signed up to the profile and I’ve definitely completed the form, but it says the ‘form not started’.

I know the school is closed and I may not get a response when they reopen , but if there is any other way, please let me know I’m desperate.

Can you not just redo the registration form? According to the website, applications don't close until October and the test is in December.

It's the open day that's in September.

I looked at the website out of interest and as far as I can see, registration closed in June and the tests are on 3-4-5 Sept? Unless I am looking at the wrong school I have a different result from yours @Lougle?

And @Cathxt you should have received an invitation to the test before the end of July? Have you checked that your Applicaa+ account email is accurate? I guess it might have been easier to chase this up before the July date. Not sure what you can do now except wait until the school reopens? Does no one answer calls – I am thinking there will have been staff in this week and next for exam results days. Possibly this is not something they want to be dealing with on those busy days tho.

OP, can you clarify which school you are talking about: Latymer Upper, or The Latymer School ?!

ahhhh two different schools of course. I assumed the state school but ofc @Cathxt may mean the private school. Key question!

Ah, my mistake. I didn't know there were two schools.

I would have thought you'd get a form submitted email. Is it possible that you actually didn't complete the form?

The website says:

"Please note that the school cannot be held responsible for technical breakdowns/errors when completing our on-line registration form on electronic devices.

The Test
All registered applicants will receive an invitation to the tests detailing the date and time of their test before the
end of July."

I suspect that you've had some sort of technical issue and unfortunately I think that means that Latymer is not going to be an option in the main round.

@Cathxt looks as tho for some reason your form did not submit. Did you chase up with the school when you didn't get a test date in July?

I do hope this is not the case as I did complete the form. I’d tripled checked before the deadline and I have screenshots to prove it. :(

But did you get an invitation to the test in July as the website states? And if not did you chase it up then? I am thinking the school would still have been open and it might have been possible to assign a test date?

Screenshots of a 'you have submitted the form' confirmation, or screenshots of a form in progress? Unless you have proof that you successfully submitted it, the screenshots won't help.

Same here, haven't received any emails from Latymer yet. But I just happened to check the Applica portal a few weeks ago and there was a notification in there which provided a confirmation of the test date. So you will need to login and accept the invite. Hope this helps!

You are probably best trying to contact them around exam result days. I would expect the admin team will be fully back by gcse day but that runs it pretty close.

Yes @Cathxt you need to use your Applicaa login - are you checking that?
