What year is she in? What region / which school(s)? A lot depends on the specifics of the test she will be sitting.

Hi, first thing I would do is find out from the specific grammar schools what they will be testing. Don’t just ask your current school) call admissions at the schools you are applying to and ask them. They could be using a platform like QUEST for example…. Generally, it will be different based on Sage 1 and Stage 2 and will cover some or all of the following: VR, comprehension, inference, punctuation and grammar etc via multiple choice - you can use Atom for this but for grammar schools this could be too easy….is she already using this platform….and dinner and customise it for her schools or top independent girls schools so you get the tougher questions….once this is easy you have to step it up…where is she now? When are her exams? In stage 2 she has to be strong at continue the story (same tense/tone/context has to make sense), or a discursive piece that has to have an argument for both sides….i hope this is helpful…..vocab is paramount to nailing the VR!
